Meet Our Missionaries
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen".
Mt 28:19-20
Billy and Donna Hires
After 33 years of serving in the local church, Billy as pastor and Donna as women’s ministry leader, the Lord called them to full-time missions with Missionary Ventures International.
Their responsibilities with MVI are primarily twofold: First, they help provide much needed pastoral care for missionaries on the field in Central and South America, Africa and parts of Europe. Secondly, they spend much of their time training and encouraging the church leadership, primarily in Latin America, Africa and Cuba.
Additionally, on the first floor of their home, in Otto, NC, they provide a place for pastors and missionaries to come for rest, renewal, and counseling. This aspect of their ministry is called, “A Place of Grace”, and by God’s Grace it stays very busy.

Herman and Ros Weits
Herman and Ros are founders of the Bali Christian Retreat Center in Bali, Indonesia. They provide a place for people to come and disconnect from the hurriedness of life in order to:
1. Come to Rest and Rejoice in Jesus Christ, our Redeemer Lord
2. Be Refreshed, Restored and Renewed in their relationship with Him through the study of His Word and the worship in His presence, in the fellowship of His Spirit and fellow believers;
3. Return Recharged to resume their responsibilities, wherever God has called them to be in ministry with Him!
In addition to taking care of their guests at the retreat center, Herman also serves a local church by preaching and teaching. They both work to disciple local Christians, devote themselves to daily prayer, intercession, and the study of God's Word. They also work to have good relationships with their unbelieving neighbors as they witness and share the Hope of Christ with them by their words and actions.
